WHAT THE COOL GHOULS ARE WEARING FOR HALLOWEEN

It’s officially October, one of the best months of the year. The temperature is dropping, the leaves are falling, and its getting closer and closer to sweater weather by the day. Another reason I love October? You guessed it.. Halloween. I just love a theme, so I’ve always been a big Halloween fan. TikTok is surging with makeup artist’s videos and all kinds of costume ideas, it’s just the best. Everyone’s creativity really shines through and it makes my fashion girl heart sing. Speaking of, I wanted to share some easy, yet unique Halloween costumes for us fashion girls that consist of pieces you might already have in your closet. Let’s get into it boos!


  1. Playing off the leopard trend for fall, we have the Party Animal.

Grab whatever cheetah print item you have in your closet and just add a party hat!


  1. Tapping into the trench coat trend, we have 13 Going on 30.

All you need is a trench coat, pink slip dress, and an eye mask!


  1. Sophisticated silks are having a moment, especially skirts, so why not take advantage of that with.. Elizabeth James. 

The ingredients: 

- light tan button-up (bonus points for chiffon or silk)

- white or cream slip skirt

- black sunglasses, cigarette, and one roller in your hair


  1. A color that’s been trending all year that we know and love? Red. And who wears red the best? Betty. Boop.

All you need is a red dress, preferably strapless. Short black hair would be great, but you could always do a little hair color and pin your hair up! Red lipstick, of course. And for an added bonus.. a red garter (just use ribbon) and you’re set!


  1. What we’ve seen trending most recently throughout fashion month is the resurgence of the boho trend. You could go with the typical “hippie”, but I feel like that’s not unique enough for us fashion goirls. Take it up a notch and lean into the characters of Daisy Jones & the Six. Whether you’re more Daisy, Camila, or Karen, I think if you stick to these key components, you’ll be covered..

1) suede jacket, even better if it has fringe. 

2) a chiffon top, ideally cream with ruffles

3) mini skirt with tall boots or wide leg jeans
